I am experiencing the same issues. Worked with the ISP to isolate issues. When Roku is power connected the download speed falls dramatically from 10Mbps to 2Mbps. That is regardless of whether I am watching TV or not Roku is wired to the home network. ISP router is new. Roku has a problem. I strongly believe a firmware update is needed. Also, a power-off feature will be nice to avoid the unplugging of the device everytime a power cycle is necessary. The only way for me to have a good internet experience is to unplugg Roku if I am not watching.
