WiFi connection

Jump to solution

I have optimum WiFi..my WiFi has two options for connection. One being a 2.5 gh connection and one being a 5gh connection. My roku device only shows the 2.4 gh connection on the screen as an option to connect too. I am not sure why it doesn’t allow me to connect to the better version but it it causing issues with buffering. Have anyone experienced this?

Some Rokus (like the Express) only support 2.4GHz.  Try changing the position of the Roku and/or changing the wireless channel in your router.

You can try logging into your router's admin panel using the IP address : 192.168.0.1 !

You can set up your wireless network configuration from there easily !

Thanks !
