There are several models of Roku players with XD in the name. However, the newest one is still over 8 years old in design. None of them support 5 GHz, and the two oldest don't even support 802.11n. Honestly, it's entirely possible the WiFi radio has broken. Or as I said your router might be broadcasting .11n. But since it doesn't see anything, my guess is a dead radio.
A Roku that old is not worth attempting any repair. Roku doesn't even support the model any longer, so it won't receive any further updates, and channels are likely to begin failing as well.
