Where to find the MAC Address on a new Roku Express

Jump to solution

Ok  this is not about Macintosh computer or anything apple, nor it is about email addresses.

How does one get the Media access Control (MAC) Address from a Roku Express - Without it being connected to the internet? We use MAC Address filtering here, and a Very long pw. It will be connected to the TV (a Vizio E series smart) once I can get it registered for my wife and get everything re-arranged (sound box, disc players, etc. so it all fits in the confined space).

Regards and Thanks,

Mike.

From now on if people dont upvote me and do as I say I will consider holding my breath and selling my Roku's.

I don't have an Express to check, but I'd first try checking the bottom to see if it's in tiny print on the label.  Then I'd search the packaging.  Finally, if you can't get it set up because you need the MAC address to connect to the Internet, try setting it up using a mobile hotspot or someone else's network.  Then you can get the MAC address from the Settings menu.
