I just got my new Roku, and set up according to instructions. It is NOT able to connect to the internet. I checked password several times, restarted router and Roku, and haven't had any luck. i confirmed that my internet is working. Additionally, router is only about 6 feet away from the Roku... Any suggestions or should I give up and return the Roku?

So it connects to your network but won't connect to the Internet? Someone recently reported that changing his DNS settings in his router to Google's DNS (8.8.8.8) got his Roku to connect.
Some people have also reported success by changing their password to a simpler one.
If anything else is logged in to the router temporarily log them out and focus on the Roku.
Do another Router restart wait a good 30 seconds before plugging it back in.
