Two Premiers, models numbers and system screens are different.

I have two Roku Premiers, both bought in retail stores (the same orange box). In the system setup screens, one says model number 3920RW,  and one says model number 3920X. I looked these up online, and the 3920RW says it is a Walmart retail version, which is true - I bought it at a local Walmart store. However, the 3920X says that it's sold online, which is not true - I bought is at a local Target store. Some of the menus are different For example, the 3290RW says it's a Roku Premier, while the 3920X says it's a Roku Player. Also, The 3920X has a weaker network connection, even if I flip the two devices. Why?

Thanks.
