Streaming stick + and USB extension

Hi all,

I have 3 Roku's, I am setting up a new streaming stick + and when I use the supplied USB extension the Roku fails to connect wirelessly -it cant connect to my network, it can see it but fails to connect.

Using one of the other supplied cables from my other Roku's I get the same result.

Remove the USB extension cable and all is fine.

USB power is being supplied by the Roku supplied adaptor

Thanks

Re: Streaming stick + and USB extension

Hello,

I've a Roku Streaming Stick + which is connected to my wall mounted TV. Can I use an 8-10ft extension cable for it? USB 3.0 or USB 2.0 then?

Re: Streaming stick + and USB extension

You'd probably just have to try it.  Any cable should do, but I don't know how it will affect the Advanced Wireless Receiver that the Stick+ uses.
