Streaming player won't work

I have a Roku express and the following keeps happening after I've reset.
Choose network...(chose network and entered password)
✓wireless connection
✓internet connection
Then freezes and reboots. Occasionally goes through to software update then says unable to update. So the process starts again.

Mine is not working either. Happened about 15 minutes ago. I have tried everything to get it to work. I only purchased it 4 days ago. I wonder if Roku is having an issue?

Thanks for letting us know about the issue that you are experiencing.

Have you tried unplugging your wireless router/modem to reboot your network, then restart your Roku and try again from there? If that isn't working, I would again suggest trying another wireless network, such as a mobile hotspot to set up your device.
