My Asus router died the other night, and the Roku shut down. I have a new router with a stronger signal, and all I have on my screen is "No signal". I have tried both HDM ports. I have reset the router, reset the Roku, and nothing displays on the screen. When the Roku stopped working, I saw on the community pages that there had been an update, and several people were having issues. I still had sporadic internet for a few more hours, so I wasn't sure what was happening.
This is a fairly new Express+, so unless anyone can figure out what is going on, I will need to return,
As someone else stated--why is there no company support?
This is support.
There is NO nothing on the TV screen???
If not Factory reset it. Somewhere on the stick there is a pin hole with a reset button in it.
Get a paper clip and hold the button in a Good 30 seconds while its plugged into power.
should be getting the Bouncing Roku splash regardless of a net connection.
You didnt mention your Roku Model number.
I hope youre using a Surge Protector.
Express+ 3910 I did the reset-nothing.
if you did a Factory Reset and still not a thing on the screen?
Can you try another HDMI cable.
Are you sure the Source/Input is set right?
Its possible a power surge or flux is what killed your router.
doesnt take much very small amounts of electricity will do it.
In Computereez we speak on terms of extremly low amounts of juice.
The Asus was old, I do have a surge protector. It appears I have to pay to return the unit. Frustrated.
I dont blame you.
I guess youve double checked everything.
