Roku can’t connect to 5G

Our internet recently was upgraded to 5G. Now ROKU loses the connection frequently and we have to reboot the router. Our ROKU is suppose to work with 5G but it doesn’t.  Any suggestions on how to get it to recognize the 5G?

There are not many Roku devices that work on 5 GHz. What model Roku do you have? The specific model number, please. 

Of the current models, only the Streaming Stick+ and the Ultra support 5 GHz WiFi. You have to go back several generations to find any other model Roku that supports 5 GHz.
