Highly noticeable with audio. No so much with the video.
Occurs on all channels. There is no noticeable video interruption as it it to short of an interruption, but the audio IS interrupted on the video channels and music channel. (thx)
The Roku Ultra is wireless from the internet router. The Roku is wired to my Yamaha RX-779 AV Receiver which wired to my TV. Speakers all also wired to the Yamaha AV. (Thx again for your help.)
I have a fairly dependable high-speed internet connection which I use for my work. I don't use the AV/Home Video System at the same time as my work.
I have not- as the TV has no "worthy" audio experience. BUT. I will do that today and after some extended time with that experiment I'll respond on this thread. (I should have thought of that myself.) Thank you.
How close to your Roku is your router? Mine was a couple of inches away and I had similar problems. I moved it to about 24" and everything seems to play nicer.
I've so far ruled-out Roku's location as I've tried various locations from 3' to 25' away from the router.
I'm still investigating. I'm not sure yet, but I suspect the issue may be an internal board on my AV. I will report when I have better information. Thx.
