Roku Ultra: turning off wifi

I have a sensitivity to wifi, EMI and RFI. I also have a Control4 smart home system in place. Can I turn the Roku Ultra wifi off and only use the ethernet connection for content and control? If not for control, is there an IR receiver built into the Roku Ultra?

Re: Roku Ultra: turning off wifi

Roku devices such as the Ultra use WiFi Direct. You can't turn that off.

Maybe the cheap Roku Express that uses an IR remote?

Except that the cheap Roku Express is Wi-Fi only.

If you disable "Device connect" under "Advanced system settings" it may turn off the Wi-Fi completely, but you'll need an IR remote.

Duh. I should have thought about that before I posted. But yeah, if your suggestion does work, they can get a cheap IR remote that supports Roku codes for under $10 from Family Dollar, Walmart, CVS, Best Buy, etc.
