Roku Ultra keeps telling me I used the wrong network password

Jump to solution

I struggled for days resetting my router calling roku support that had me do again and again all the things I already know, never giving me a solution.
Finally I tried changing my password to a basic letter number combination.
It was the same password without punctuation marks or characters.
THAT DID IT.
ROKU just doesn't like them!
All that time waisted because of a coma and a star I had in it.
I could just scream, nobody ever mentioned it.
I hope this helps
George

As @atc98092 mentioned, you might try changing the wireless password to eliminate any special characters from your wireless network password. This should help resolve the issue.

Thanks,

Tanner

Sorry you struggled with this. I recall seeing that mentioned here on the forum for many years, so it's not anything new. Roku wireless only likes alphanumeric characters.
