The power adapter that came with it is no where to be found.  The replacements on Roku's site are $10, I can deal with that..

If you have another USB power adapter lying around from some other device you likely can use that.  Just get out your magnifying glass and make sure the fine print on it says it has an output current of at least 1 amp (1000 milliamps).

If you don't have one at hand, you can probably find one locally a lot quicker than waiting to get one from Roku, and perhaps for less money.

You could try one out from a cell phone temporarily to see if that solves your problem before you go about getting another one.
