I have been a happy Roku LT owner for a little over a year now, but yesterday I ran into a problem. It suddenly will not connect to my wireless network. I get the message "Can't connect to your wireless network (error code 014)". There have been absolutely no changes to my setup or hardware, neither router, TV, nor Roku. It just simply stopped working. All my other devices (computer, phone, iPad) connect to the network just fine.
Here's what I have tried so far:
Re-typing the password for my wireless network on the Roku
Manually entering the SSID
Roku factory reset
Turning off wireless security
Changing my router SSID
None of that has worked. I am completely at a loss as to what to do to fix this.
The Roku and router are in the same room, so it's not a range/signal problem.
The Roku is connected via HDMI to a 42" RCA LED42B45RQ
Any help will be greatly appreciated. Thanks.
Tried it. Did not work. Should I re-enable the pings?
Thank you for the secret screen and disable pings tips;
My tv is now working again (I hope it stays that way!);
My question now is: should I leave the pings disabled? Or go back and enable them?
I have no clue what pings are so I’m not sure.
