RF Signal While Using Ethernet Cable

When using an ethernet cable with a Ultra-LT, does the rf continue to generate a signal as I am trying to minimize RF in my house?  Also is the communication between the unit and the remote infrared, FM or Blutooth?  Ron

Re: RF Signal While Using Ethernet Cable

It's probably the RF remote. You could get a basic IR remote (either Roku or 3rd party), and pull the batteries from the Roku RF remote.

The IR remote does not support audio or voice commands.

The remote uses Wi-Fi Direct .  I don't think pulling the batteries out of it will stop the Roku from broadcasting its Wi-Fi Direct AP.  There may be something in one of the hidden menus that affects it.
