Can't connect to Roku to change WiFi bc "remote" and Roku aren't on the same WiFi. Help.

Experiencing the same. Can’t access the settings on my device bc my remote/phone is on a different network. No ability to call or email support is frustrating. Lots of info but no answers

My remote just doesn't work. New batteries and all. Extremely frustrating.

What model Roku do you have? Model number, not name. Some Roku devices support IR, so you can use an inexpensive IR remote that has Roku support. If it's a Stick, you're stuck, as they don't support IR. You have to have a Roku WiFi Direct remote for that model Stick.
