I recently got a Roku Premiere, and since I set it up I've been having problem with network issue. When I try to steam Sling TV I always get buffering issues, or the quality is so bad just can't even watch. Sometimes it doesn't even open when I click play. I have a bunch of other older Roku devices in my house and they work fine. I also purchased another Roku Premiere just to test out if I got a defective one, but that had the same problem. Anyone know how I can resolve this issue?
We would also recommend adjusting your wireless network (changing the wireless broadcast channel). We are having the exact same issue here with the Roku Premier. Buffering is extreme and the sound frequently cuts out so we're unable to watch anything if connecting via phone or tablet. We also have a Roku TV and 2 other Rokus in the house and rarely have any issues with any of those.
I am having the same issue, lots of buffering and sound issues with the premier+. I check the connection and the wireless signal is always excellent and the internet speed is more than sufficient. This happens with two different rokus but only on one tv (Insignia brand). The other tv is fine. I have to power down the roku to fix the problem. Any ideas?
Similar issues here. Older Roku works great but the premiere that I bought has had a litany of issues with Plex. I'm not sure how long it's been since I bought it but I wish I could get an answer on how long they warranty it for.
