Netshare & Roku connectivity

I recently installed the app Net Share on my android so that I could use my mobile data hotspot to connect to my Roku to watch tv. However it has no place to change any proxy settings. When I try connecting it says it is connected to wireless but not internet. Is there any options for this to work?

@meganjaytee2019

Thanks for the post.

Have you confirmed that you hotspot is indeed working? Have you tried connecting an alternate device, such as a computer or another mobile device to confirm that that hotspot is providing an internet connection?

Please keep us posted and we will be able to assist you further.

Thanks,
Danny

@cs68

Thanks for the post.

Can you please clarify your inquiry? What are the steps to reproduce the issue you are seeing? Are you having an issue connecting your Roku device to your wireless network, or having an issue connecting your phone to the Roku device?

With more detailed information, we will be able to assist you further.

Thanks,
Danny

Re: Netshare & Roku connectivity

@GeForece, it's impossible.  There are no proxy settings on a Roku device.
