My Roku connects to the internet and then quickly loses connection again

this is something new that has never happened before. It connects but doesn't stay connected but my laptop works and is connected with a strong signal. I have not moved the device, it just started to do it.

What Roku device do you have?   Go into settings and setup network connection again to see if that helps.

I have restarted the roku numerous times and also keeps connecting but then immediately loses connection when I try to choose and a network to watch

The model number can be found from your Roku's Home Screen at Settings/System/About.
