Not that this will help but 2 weeks ago the bedroom tv went out and it was a week until we got a new one,so I unplugged the Roku. When I plugged it into the new tv I had the 0 Mac adresse problem and no wireless and did all of the resets and reboots of router, modem, and Roku, etc, then decided to just let it be for a few hours.I left it plugged in.Then later I went back and rebooted the router/modem and connected wired(it wouldnt earlier) then switched to wireless.Who knows, maybe it was cold.In any case I will not be unplugging that one again.

I got this issue today MAC address is all zeros running November 2018 firmware. First time we have seen it. Four system restarts didn't work.
It did work after we unplugged the TV for 2 minutes and it worked when plugged in again.
Precisely the same issue on my Hisense Roku TV too... all zeros. Just suddenly stopped working. Factory reset, on a wired connection fine, but wireless is all zeros. We have no wired option on our outhouse... this is shockingly poor.
My new 75 inch worked for 1 week, then all zeros, already arranged a return to Walmart, back to VIZIO I go, sad this has been a problem for years with no fix
I'm having the same **bleep**en problem literally .I did everything I just bought this **bleep**en tv last month been connected to my phone and tv this whole time .not to long ago my son was watching tv it's been off I turned it on to watch tv but my phone wouldn't work o connect it so I tried searching for my device no luck .found the remote but say not connected !!!I'm getting pissed.i rebooted everything unplugged factory rest several times .I'm mad this 32in is for gaming mostly but on my days off I just wanna relax and not deal with this bull**bleep**
I kept having this issue every time after system would check for update. I figured out that you have to unplug everything from your usb port and then go to power and reset system and network connection.
