Internet connectivity

I have tried connecting my new Roku Ultra to the Internet. Both Ethernet and Wireless options connect to my network, but does not show an internet connection (error code 009). I have restarted the Roku several times. I have restarted my cable modem and also have had the ISP reset my modem. All other devices (phones, IPads, Smart TV, laptops) have no issues with connecting to the network or internet. Help!!!

Is the ISP Spectrum?  If so, others are reporting similar problems lately.  Some have reported that exchanging their Spectrum modem for a newer one fixed the problem.

yesterday morning, my Roku Ultra was connected to my wireless network

however, in the evening, it says "not connected" and still won't connect

i have no internet issues (i'm creating this message from my desktop), i made sure the password was entered correctly and i've restarted the device twice,  it still won't connect

i have another Roku Ultra that is connected to the internet

can anyone help???

I've run into this here several times.  This has always worked for me:

  • Restart your router (even if other devices have no problem finding and connecting).
  • Restart the Roku to clear its memory via Settings > System > System restart (for a Roku TV it's Settings > System > Power > System restart)
  • Find and connect to your network via Settings> Network > Set up connection

If that doesn't fix it, try disconnecting the power to your Roku for a few seconds.  When it comes back up, see if you then can set up the network connection.
