I can’t connect to my network

I have a Ruko + and I have set up in my with my family room with also he modem + router maybe 8 ft away off to the side. I have a secure network and an open network, for some reason it is only picking up the open network. When I manually enter the secure network it won’t pick it that up either.  Any solutions? I have Linksys router E2500

Which Roku do you have? There are two current (and some past) devices that include a "+" in the name. If it's the Express+ you should be aware that device doesn't support dual band. It's 2.5 GHz only, and if the network you're seeking is 5 GHz, it won't see it.

What's the model number of the device?

Is your open network the 2.4 GHz one? Does your secure network only transmit on 5 GHz? Can you check your router setup to confirm? Or do you otherwise know?
