Hey how do I factory reset if I don't have the PIN number?
My Roku kept buffering while streaming a movie so I went to `Settings > Connection Test` to see how strong the connection was.
After running it, it disconnected me from the connection (?!), so I checked other devices (phone, laptop) and wifi still worked. I figured "Okay, maybe the Roku is getting too much 2g interference (even though nothing else was). Maybe hopping on another wifi channel will fix it" so I disconnected my router and waited a few seconds then plugged it back in.
Other devices reconnect, so I try to reconnect with Roku. Nope.
So I try to unplug it and wait for a while then plug it back in. All my apps are there so it didn't do a full reset or anything. Still doesn't connect (laptop/phone next to it continue connecting to the 2g).
So I try to Factory Reset the Roku and it asks for PIN number. I tried a few guesses (who remembers their ROKU PIN number???) and eventually have to get online and reset the PIN. But the Roku can't connect to the internet, so it can never update the updated PIN number (big oversight from their UX team).
So now I have a paperweight. It can't connect to wifi or factory reset.
So like... what do I do? Can I get a refund after having the device for a while since it just randomly turned into a brick?
