Error code now frozen

I have a TCL Roku TV that I was trying to connect to Xfinity Wi-Fi when I connect it to the Xfinity Wi-Fi I had no internet connection I turn my TV off and then back on and it showed software update checking for new software then it would finish checking and say unable to update software check for updates later or I would say setup Network manually any which way I would connect it would go to a red screen in the top left-hand corner it would say TCL Roku TV no matter what I do the screen does not change or anything happens unless I turn the TV off by unplugging it and then turn it back on by plugging it back in
