PLEASE HELP!! - I have tried everything I can online, I have restarted everything, rebooted, tested, done it all. My internet is refusing to stay connected to my roku. Im trying to see if maybe the lack of an update is an issue but it cant even do that. It gets to 49/50 percent and then fails every time. This has been going on for days and I have two rokus, it is not my router. Everything else is working fine w the internet BUT this roku. I even factory reset it and I cant update it, again because the connection isnt good enough. - Unless theres some magic fix I feel like im gonna have to buy a new one. I really wish I could call someone to get more help than just posting on the forum.
Furthermore, if the affected device is either a Roku Express or Roku Premiere, please note that they are only compatible with wireless b/g/n networks on the 2.4 GHz spectrum. Ensure that your router is broadcasting a 2.4GHz Wi-Fi network for the device to connect to. You can check your device model by navigating to Settings > System > About.
You can also try configuring your router and use wireless channels 1, 6, or 11 which are the preferred channels in North America. Each time you change the wireless channel, you will likely need to apply/save changes before you are prompted to restart the router.
