Recently installed ATT fiber router / gateway with 2 of the ATT Smart Extenders in the house (their mesh system) to give whole house coverage. Roku Soundbar keeps connecting to extender that is on the other side of the house versus connecting to the main gateway that is 7 feet from the Roku. Causes poor signal and poor picture quality. Is there a way to force the soundbar to connect to a specific gateway in the mesh system?
I've never set up a mesh network, but for one to work I would expect the SSID to be constant for all radios. So no, there's really no way to tell which one you're connecting to. You'd have to have distinct SSIDs on each radio, and I'm not sure that is permitted on a mesh network.
Have you tried clearing out all the wifi connection info and setting up your network connection anew?
Settings > System > Advanced system settings > Network connection reset
Yes cleared all networks and started again. It connected to same extender.
