Can’t get past the set up

Just bought the roku today and it won’t get past an update.

I am putting in my WiFi password it’s correct and then it goes to blank screen and then asks me for my WiFi again. I have tried my mobile hotspot, it does the same thing. I have restarted the roku, it does the same thing and I have restarted my whole router and it still doesn’t work.

and I know my WiFi works because it works on my laptop and phone!!!

please help me fix this !!

First make sure you're using the supplied power adapter.  If you are, you may just want to take it back and get another.
