Can’t connect to new router

My Roku express 3930x was connected to and worked fine with my old router from Xfinity. I’ve changed to att uverse router. Roku sees the network but won’t connect after several attempts with correct password. I’ve reset the Roku 3 times. Please help

Have you tried restarting the U-verse router?

Yes thanks 

all my other devices connect. Oddly the network name that comes up on all devices including Roku is my old uverse router name which is not plugged in   not the new one. But the new router password works to get on other devices but not Roku

Try Settings->System->Advanced system settings->Network connection reset.
