@CMWillson Not all Roku devices have a card slot for external memory. It depends on what model of Roku you have. You can search for the model number on the Roku wiki and see if it is a model that has an external memory slot. The Samsung TV will not add memory to the Roku device as it is not designed for that purpose.
If you are having memory issues with your Roku, you can either do a system restart in the settings or unplug the power for 60 seconds and see if that helps. If not, it is possible that your device's internal memory is corrupted and gone bad.
No recent Roku has a slot for adding more memory.
I think you may have experienced this bug:
Thank you fir the information and possible solution.. Restarting worked well.
I’ve deleted a large number of apps and I still can’t load YouTube tv
I get a message review article 208756158
Either do a system restart in the settings or unplug the device for 60 seconds to clear the cache. If that does not help, it is possible that the internal memory has gone bad.
My tv is acting up. It will tell me it can't load an ap because there is not enough space but nothing has changed. It also now shuts off after 4 hours even though power saving is off. I have reset everything including factory reset of tv and roku. I have even deleted my account opened a new but nothing changes. One strange thing is when re setting on the new account it says it is reloading 30 aps when 5 only show up. It's like the tv still thinks it's the old account.
Did the above and UTube is not on the app. I removed U tube and tried to reinstall, but it is not offered on the app. I still have UTube tv and that is not offered either
The above restored my UTube tv because I didn't delete it. It was saying not enough memory
Where is the UTUBE app?
Do you really mean "Utube"? Did you try searching for "Youtube"?
The prblem is now occurring daily. Please send notice when this is resolved . I specifically bought 3 Roku TVs to manage my streaming in the house and now only one TV works with Roku.
