@Mpala, perform a System restart under Settings->System or Settings->System->Power (depending on your device). The power button on the remote doesn't restart the device.
My YouTube?
When I go to pull it up, it says not enough storage space. Now now my peacock channel app is completely gone. When I went to put it back on my Home Screen. It says not enough storage space. I've removed apps that are on my screen. That I did not put on there and it still says not enough. Storage space don't know what to do to get my 2 channels. That I watched a lot back.kkktdsooyotteehtdsentttnnypdIeehtsstnyktotIeypplpwweeeehosspoI
Have you performed a System restart from Settings->System or Settings->System->Power or simply pulled out the power plug briefly?
Hey Roku, are you any closer to figure out what the problem is? I have a Roku 4670RW Ultra 4K. Every few days it seems like I have to reboot to solve the Insufficient Memory issue with YouTube TV loading.
I’m trying to stream on espn, every time I try to pull up espn it says not enough memory. It says, there isn’t enough space to install espn. You can try removing some apps to free up space. Same thing happened last week I removed 3-4 apps and it began working. Today I tried removing apps but it still won’t work. I’ve gone from 18 to 9 apps now. I’ve never had this issue. What do I do?
Tommy I’m have the same issue with many of my streaming apps on my tv! Do I need a new Roku device?
Do a system restart on your TV/device and/or unplug the power for 60 seconds. That is usually caused by a corrupt cache and doing one of those 2 things usually fixes the issue, unless the physical memory has gone bad on the device (depending on the age of the Roku).
Can Roku weigh in with some knowledge as to why RokuTVs are made such that a user has to use an underground trick to clear the cache in order to load an app that had been working fine to that point? Why aren't these devices made with enough memory and ability to refresh its own cache?
I have several TCL Roku TVs. All of them are slow as molasses, shut down periodically for no reason, freeze and become non-reactive to attempts to launch an app. All appear to be signs of not enough memory.
Occurred today April 20th 2025 on hisense roku television. It's still an issue. Please find solution.
I have a Samsung tv with a Roku device attached. How do I add more memory?? I have a chip but there is nowhere on the actual device for it.. only one on my tv itself..
