Pretty sure Roku developers are total amateurs and don't even know how to virtualize their various products and run automated testing on them or they'd catch many, many problems like this before being pushed to real customers.
It's called virtualization, Roku. You should look it up. There are enterprise options for your exact use-case.
It looks like you’re having some problems with autoplay not working in certain apps. Can you let us know which app the issue occurred in? Also, please share your device info and software version (you can find this in Settings > System > About).
Thank you for your cooperation.

If Roku's developers learned how to properly virtualize and test software before rolling it out in updates then you wouldn't have tons of problems.
And you wouldn't have to pester people for details because you lack the ability to reproduce an issue.
You'd easily be able to troubleshoot problems like this when they did occur, which would be less often.
This is development 101 stuff.
These really seem like ridiculous questions at this point. It's most apps after installing the 14.5.4 5937 update. 14.5.4 build 5944 was slightly better initially but somehow went bad quickly.
I have multiple Roku streaming devices and TV's. The model #'s of the streaming devices are 4670-RW Roku Ultra, and 3930RW Roku Express. I have two Ultras and three Expresses, all now have software version 14.5.4 build 5944, all have issues with auto play in multiple apps. And yes, I've checked to make sure auto play didn't magically turn itself off in the apps.
I had one Roku Ultra that I managed to keep from updating until today. Something happened and it updated to this dreaded 14.5.4 5944 version and BAM! auto play stopped working.
Editing to add, yes the auto play issue is primarily with Hulu. Paramount+ isn't auto playing either.
Issue ID is 63-168-327
Not sure how I'm supposed to get a video of an app not auto playing. It finishes an episode and goes to the home screen in Hulu. In Paramount+ it finishes an episode, has the loading circle for a few seconds and the screen goes gray.
I have the same issue, missing Auto Play from Accessibility menu.
Issue ID 31-167-068
It seems Roku isn't concerned with fixing this issue. I've moved on to purchasing an amazon firestick which I've had zero issues with. I will no longer support Roku and it's faulty products.
I have a couple Firesticks but didn't like them as much as Roku. Found Roku to be easier to navigate. I even use Roku Ultras on my smart TV's because I like the ease of the Roku over all the individual apps on the TV. It's really unfortunate that this issue is lasting as long as it is because it's definitely souring our opinion of Roku.
@KCQuackerYeah, firesticks are a comical downgrade and an extremely locked down and useless ecosystem (by comparison) that no one who can type faster than 3 words per minute uses.
Firesticks are like the campion streaming device for the technologically illiterate.
Extremely cheap and underpowered hardware that overheats and crashes easily, bloated ad-heavy interface, aggressive lock-in to the Amazon ecosystem and no side-loading or adding content yourself, low software quality and minimal updates, and their remotes are garbage.
I also use Ultra's on my TV's and ignore their terrible OS's, and now I'm switching these Roku's to Nvidia Shield's because THAT is an upgrade.
Hi, this has been going on for months now. If this isn't fixed shortly, I'll be moving to a firestick.
