My auto play no longer works in the apps on my Roku tv. Like Hulu etc it’s really annoying.
@Jharra Q.
Why would this specific Roku build # cause all the apps to stop auto playing and why would it be something the app developer needs to fix? I have this issue on all streaming apps I use. Hulu, Paramount+, Max, Peacock, etc. NONE auto play after updating the Roku device. ALL are set to auto play.
There was a new update available this afternoon. 14.5.4 build 5944 I think. It seems to have resolved the auto play issue....that they claim didn't exist.
My post and several others state that we have tried updated Roku, updating the apps, and ensuring that autoplay is turned on. So yes, I have tried that. It is clearly something that the last update broke and not something the users are doing, or not doing.
This is new behavior to me, but extremely annoying… confirmed auto play has been toggled on and off many times attempting to resolve. I suppose it’s time to plug in my chromecast.
I tried forcing update. Did not work
Forced the update still not working. It shows next episode then that goes away and it goes to the main screen. Hasn’t been working since the last update.
Hey everyone!

Yeah, the 5944 update only fixed it temporarily for me too. It's back to not auto playing on multiple devices. 🙄
I've also been having this problem since the update. I've tried all the listed solutions and now I'm just going to switch to using a gaming system. Really disappointed I've relied on my roku for years without issues and now it's not even an option.
