Being able to rollback the update seems like an easy way to fix the issue. If this isn't fixed within a week I will no longer be using Roku products. I don't like paying for a faulty service.
I switched to my fire stick. No issues. Roku needs to get it together
No issues? Really? Looks like I'm getting a firestick today! Thanks for the info!
The Hulu app is not moving to the next episode. I have tried updating the Roku player, updating the app, ensuring auto play is turned, power cycled the Roku player, and nothing has worked. Netflix auto plays just fine.

Hey everyone!
We know some of you are having issues with autoplay.
Have you tried adjusting the settings? You can turn autoplay on or off by heading to Hulu > Settings. During playback, click the Settings icon to open the menu and toggle the Autoplay option as you like.
Let us know how it goes.

UPDATE: it only worked for a couple episodes and now it's back to not working.
I was having the same issue. Today I decided to force an update on the Hulu app itself and it worked. There was an update and now autoplay is working again. on the home screen move over to your Hulu app, hit the star button on your remote, choose update. Restart your Roku and try a show on Hulu. Hopefully it works for you like it did for me.
I'm fairly certain several of the posts have stated this already, auto play shows it's turned on in the apps. Not sure why installing a Roku software update would have changed settings like that in apps anyway.
I've also checked to see if maybe individual apps needed to be updated using the * method. The apps (yes, multiple apps not just Hulu) all day they're up to date.
Since I have multiple Roku devices, some that have updated and and one that wasn't updated, I can say that the issue is ONLY on devices that have installed the 14.5.4 software update. My device using the 14.1.4 version is still able to auto play.
It only worked for 2 episodes and now its not working again.
