Not just you, happening on both of my Roku TV's for over a month now.  EXTREMELY annoying, and all the suggestions do NOT work.  It's obviously a software problem since an update

Phillips Roku TV keeps turning itself off and on

Jump to solution

I've tried unplugging it, plugging it in different outlets, factory reset, nothing works it'll turn on and display the home screen for 30 seconds and turn itself off again, I can't even navigate the menu.

Probably related to the same problem we're all experiencing that they've ignored and failed to fix. Roku TVs of all brands are randomly shutting down right after startup, most likely due to a poorly written untested software update.

Two different TCL Roku TV models randomly shutting off immediately after turning on

STILL waiting for Roku to resolve your issue. All useless FAQ suggestions do NOT resolve the issue. It is extremely annoying. Maybe people should buy FireTVs this holiday season instead. Tired of having to turn the TV on twice

Roku TV keeps turning off by itself.

My Roku TV is not working properly. It keeps turning itself off unexpectedly. It doesn’t happen all the time, but it occurs several times a day. Because of this, it’s hard to watch TV continuously. I’ve had the TV for only two months, but I can’t watch it properly because of these issues. It’s really frustrating.

Please check the video link below. I recorded a video of the TV turning off repeatedly.
