i have alexa set up with my roku but i cannot get alexa to select a profile or to play a video in any streaming service can anyone help with commands or say if this is possible

I am having the exact same problem and the recommended page https://support.roku.com/article/360017961074 does not help at all. I can open a streaming service like Hulu, search for a TV show or movie like the Goldbergs, but then I cannot actually play the move or TV show. What command am I missing. It seems ludicrous to be able to find shows but not watch them.
