live streaming and always on

Jump to solution

If the roku streaming stick plus is "always on" and is streaming a live channel and I power down the tv, will the streaming stick know enough to stop streaming because the tv is turned off?

Nope.  Get in the habit of exiting the channel/app you're in before you turn off your TV.  You may want to enable the bandwidth saver under Settings->Network.
