my time expired on getting my code from my tv .
directions say go to device setup screen and chose resend -
cant find device setup screen .
please help

here is what happened
i was just getting started with opening up my roku
and got past the credit card info and a question or two after later
my computer says we sent you the code on my device setup screen ,
i could not find the code ,
i was told my time ran out before i found it and to go to my
device setup screen and look for resend ,
so all day long I've been trying to figure out feeling vary frustrated .
to top that all off ....... phone help is not there because of covid !

Is your Roku used? It might already think it's on some account and might need a factory reset? Usually I start at the Roku, and only after it either gives me a link code or asks for my email address, then I move to a computer.
no, its brand new .
its working , but i never finished anything after the question i got stuck on .
im thinking i know nothing about what im missing .
I could be signed up for anything !
a big company like Roku should never close their phone support ,
lots of business figure out a way to do things in the pandemic .
let me have the high paid position that is in charge of phone support service and it will be open in 2 or 3 days .
i got 3 words for that person , work from home .

Just to make sure, I suggest you go to
Settings->system->about
And make sure the email listed at the top of that page is your Roku account.
As for signed up for anything, your account (online) should list any subscriptions you have.

We would recommend trying to perform a factory reset on your Roku device and trying to setup your Roku device again to see if you can get an activation code.
