can I use the roku streaming stick on a new tv since the old one broke?

my roku streaming stick is working fine but my tv broke. can I use it with my new tv?

Sure, just plug it in the roku itself has no idea of what tv its connected with or cares. If the remote controlled the tv power and volume it will need to be reprogrammed for the new tv. Go into settngs> remote & devices> remote> remote in use> program tv and follow prompts.

Just to throw one caveat out there. If your Stick was the original 3400/3420 model, those only work in a TV with an MHL slot. They look like an HDMI slot, but have different functionality. But if it's the purple (3500) or newer Stick, it will work fine with any new TV that has HDMI inputs.
