Hi folks, just recently noticed the Privacy -> Advertising setting on my Roku's. The concerning part is the mention (after pressing "*" as instructed) about "... viewing data ... from streaming channels on the Roku device ...".
Does this mean that prior to me finding the limit ad tracking checkbox they were tracking what shows I was watching within the apps? Would hate for the world to know I watch The Marvelous Mrs Maisel ! 
And jokes aside, what is the RIDA (Roku ID something) and is it sufficiently anonymizing the data it was collecting?
Moderately concerned on the privacy front here.
