Vizio TV shows no signal when connecting Roku Express
Hello, Mother-in-Law has a Vizio E-231-B1 TV , when connecting the Roku Plus unit the TV shows "no signal" . I told her to disconnect and re-connect the unit and switch ends of the HDMI cord, unfortunately the TV has a single HDMI unit aso I cannot A-B the connection, and she does not have another HDMI cord. The TV is 5 years old. I s the Roku unit possibly non-compatible with the TV or does the TV have an issue?
It's hard to tell whether the issue is with the Roku device or the TV connection. The steps you recommended would be the steps we would first check. In addition, we would recommend trying to plug the device to another TV to see if it is able to be viewed. If the device is able to work on another TV, it would lead to the conclusion that there is an issue with the former TV connection.
