Using both Roku and PVR

Jump to solution

I want to get Roku. However my Humax PVR is connected to the HDMI port of the TV. Is is possible to have both without changing cables every time I want to use one or the other?as far as I can see, a HDMI splitter simply enables output to 2 devices

I believe a splitter will let you use one device on 2 TV's. You want to buy a HDMI switcher.
Yeah, I got some Rokus.

That is my point! I want to use ONE TV for both PVR and Roku. Is there any way to do this?

Sorry I think you have answered my question Smiley LOL If I have you right, then a switch is different from a splitter and will let me plug two devices into one HDMI port on the TV. Is that right?
