Using USB to HDMI cord for power from a HDMI port instead of USB port?

I have a TV with 2 HDMI ports and no USB port.  Can I power my Stream Stick + from the 2nd HDMI port using a USB to HDMI cord?  Using the AC adapter it isn't convenient with my setup.

The USB power source needs to be 5V 1.0A (or higher) - I'd check the amps provided by that HDMI input.

You might be able to get away with 800mA with the SS+, but below that it may act strangely.

Since your TV is getting power somehow.  Use a short extension cord or something to power the Streaming Stick +.  In my experience using USB to power the stick usually does not work well.
