Thanks for the inquiry.
Please be aware that if you using the The Roku Channel app on a Samsung device, you will not be able to activate a device as there is no device to activate since your TV is not a Roku TV.
Can you please clarify what you are seeing and what are you doing before you see the error that you are experiencing? Can you please provide us with a screenshot?
