Stuck On Checking or Purple Screen

Trying to set up new Roku Premiere. I get to the set up for network and get two green check marks and it just freezes and eventually restarts. Sometimes I get to the point where it updates software then reboots but goes to a purple screen and freezes. I have reset multiple times as well as unplugging for 10 minutes and starting over. I’ve reset my modem even. #setup #troubleshoot

Are you using the supplied power adapter and not your TV's USB port?  You may just want to return it if possible.
