Set up account

I am 71. Had enough of cable. Is it OK to set my ROKu account up before i put the ROKu on the TV

I put in my email, says not a valid email! Yes it is! Don’t know what I did! Help  me to have a phone number need to talk to a human!

Can you please specify the issue you are experiencing? Are you trying to create a new account or are you trying to link your Roku device to your already existing Roku account? Can you please provide us with a screenshot of the issue you are seeing so we can better understand what you are seeing?
