Roku will not go passed initial start-up and then goes into black screen
I'm having issues with my Roku Premier. It was working fine on my current tv and then when I tried to install in to another tv (Vizio, old model) it wouldn't work on that tv so I tried to re-install to my previous tv and it won't work anymore. I tried everything from removing HDMI cables and power source from Roku and TV, and that didn't work. I've also hit reset on the Roku and the only thing that happens is that it shows the Roku initial bouncy words and then the screen goes black. It should work on the same tv I took it from, but it's not working anymore. Does anyone know how to fix this issue?
Do you see a light on the Roku device when plugged into the wall socket? Have you tried checking the HDMI connection if it's on the right input port on your TV?
Have you also tried performing a factory reset on your Roku device to see if that resolves the issue you are experiencing?
