Roku express setup is updating channels for an hour. How long does this take

My express has been “updating channels” for an hour now. Is this normal? If not, how do I exit this screen?

Thanks for the inquiry.

Are you currently setting up your device? Have you tried rebooting both your wireless router and your Roku device.

I'd also recommend trying to connect your device to an alternate network, such as a mobile hotspot, to see if you can finish updating your channels, then once your channels have been updated, try switching back to your home wireless network.
