Roku device won’t activate

Multiple attempts to activate tried all trouble shooting, no luck.  Can’t get activation code on tv.  Way too difficult and frustrating.

Thanks for the inquiry.

We recommend rebooting both your wireless router and your Roku device.

I'd also recommend trying to connect your device to an alternate network, such as a mobile hotspot, to see if you can activate and setup your device. Then once your device is all setup you can switch back to your home wireless network.

Alternate network not available.  Tried rebooting and resetting everything.  Should’ve just got a firestick

Tried to reset network.  Didn’t work.  Never get the link code on tv.  Not sure what to do at this point.

Tried on a different network as well.  No activation link will appear on tv.  Nothing works

In recent Roku activations there isn't a link code on screen, it is sent to you in an email, and the link in the email only lasts for 15 minutes before it expires.
