Every time, Roku Ultra no signal on vizio tv 4k when power on, I need switch input source on vizio, such as cable or other else, then switch back, it works. Any idea?
The software has been up to date. Which may have been the issue.
I found a new setting (or an existing setting that I overlooked) On the Roku, I went to System, Advanced Settings, then Advanced display settings. There I changed the HDR subsampling from 4:2:0 to 4:2:2.
Now I can see the Roku when powering on my Vizio TV. This resolves my issue.
Thank for the inquiry.
Have you tried replacing the cable or using another HDMI port? Have you tried connecting this device to another TV and seeing if you experiencing the same issue?
Please keep us posted and we will continue to assist you from there.
Thanks,
Danny
I too have the same issue, but with a Streaming Stick +. I move off the input, then move back and it works.
It can't be the HDMI cable since the Stick is a direct connect. Changing HDMI ports did nothing. Nor did registering stick in the CEC.
Thanks for the note.
How are you powering your Roku Streaming Stick? Through USB connected to your TV, or to a wall adapter?
Please keep us posted and we will continue to assist you from there.
Thanks,

Yes, I tried to replace the cable and use another HDMI port, it doesn't work.
As a couple of weeks ago, this device is connected to old TV(insignia), it works, never has this issue.
I just confused: why it can't power on Vizio TV, 4K issue?
I have tried both. neither work. I did set the TV to quick start and USB always powered on.
In addition, after waiting a bit after the TV start up, I tried blindly hitting the Roku Home and other buttons like Netflix. That did not work as well.
Many had this problem in Oct & Nov but Roku sent out an update to fix this, have you tried updating your roku?

I’m still having this problem anyone have any other fixes?
Thank you for posting this fix. My issue has been loss of Roku signal when switching between videos or channels. I suspect something to do with changing resolutions. I have searched everywhere for answers and I found your response to similar issue and voila! Seems to have done the trick.
